Growth Habits: Trailing shrubby perennial with woody base, 6 to 12 inches tall (15-30 cm), with small green leaves 0.4 to 2 inches long (1-5 cm)

Watering Needs: Abundant water, keep the soil moist

Propagation: Herbaceous stem cuttings, roots by itself where the stems touch the ground

Acalypha reptans looks like a miniature trailing version of Acalypha hispida.

Blooming Habits:
Rosy-pink chenille-looking flower clusters, 1.6 to 4 inches long (4-10 cm).
