Origin: South Africa (Eastern Cape Province: Cradock)

Growth Habits: Succulent rosettes, leaves with 2-3 or no teeth, 1.2 inches long (3 cm)

White flowered Faucarias have long been dubbed 'candida'. The Faucaria candida is now just a white flowered form of the very variable Faucaria felina.

Blooming Habits:
The white or pinkish-white buds are followed by large white flowers, up to 1.6 inches in diameter (4 cm) in late fall to winter. The flowers open only in full sunlight.
