Growth Habits: Evergreen tree, fast growing to 200 feet tall or more in the wild (60 m);very thick fibrous bark; mature trees are buttressed and enlarged at the base; leaves 0.5 to 1.2 inches long (1.2-3 cm)

Propagation: Seeds with low germination rate, cuttings, layering


Fruiting Habits:
Reddish-brown, egg-shaped, woody cone, 0.7 to 1 inch long (2-3 cm)
