Growth Habits: Deciduous tree, 25 to 30 feet tall (7.5 to 9 m.), 15 to 25 feet in spread (4.5 to 7.5 m.), dark green compound palmate leaves, with a lighter underside

Flowers: Red or greenish insignificant flowers, in early spring to late spring

Watering Needs: Moderate water to regular water

Propagation: Cutting or occasionally seed, grafting/budding

  • by softwood stem tip, root cuttings, in early summer. Apply IBA TALC 8000 PPM, IBA Quick Dip 5000 PPM. Use intermittent mist. Root in 6 weeks.
  • by grafts.
  • by seeds, in spring. The seeds can be harvested in early autumn.
