Home Page | Columbines are a group of European and North-American perennials. They have an attractive fern-like foliage. The name Aquilegia comes from the Latin for "dove". Columbines are often grown as annuals. They can be propagated by divisions in the fall, or by seeds in the fall or spring depending of the area.
