Propagation: Spreads by underground roots, division in spring, cuttings, seeds, can become invasive if not controlled

'Alexander' - is a cultivar with white leaf margins. It is less root invasive than the type. It was introduced by Mrs Alexander from York, England.

Blooming Habits:
Star-shaped yellow flowers, 1 inch across (2.5 cm) in late spring.
