Growth Habits: Perennial, up to 3 feet tall or more if it finds other shrubs to support it; opposite, simple, smooth-edged, linear leaves, up to 2 inches long (5 cm)

Watering Needs: Little water when established

Blooming Habits:
The Santa Catalina Mountain Phlox has tubular, whitish, flowers up to 1" wide, with yellow throat, in the spring and occasionally in autumn
