Growth Habits: Evergreen tree, fast growing 80 to 100 feet tall (24 to 30 m.), 3 to 9 inches long (7.5 to 22.5 cm.)

Fruit: Light brown cone, 3 to 6 inches long (7.5 to 15 cm.)

Watering Needs: Moderate water

Propagation: Seed or occasionally cutting, layering, grafting/budding

  • by softwood, semi-hardwood stem tip cuttings, in late autumn. Apply IBA TALC 3000 PPM. Use intermittent mist. Root in 16-22 weeks. Juvenile cuttings from younger trees root best..
