Growth Habits: Evergreen tree, fast growing, up to 80 feet tall (24 m), 60 feet in spread (18 m), pendulous; soft grey-green needles

Watering Needs: No water or very occasional deep watering when established

Propagation: Seed or occasionally cutting, grafting/budding

  • by cuttings.
  • by side veneer graft grafts.
  • by seeds, in spring. The seeds can be harvested in autumn. The seeds need soak in warm water overnight.

The shape can be easily controlled by bruning in the fall.
