Growth Habits: Evergreen shrub or small tree, up to 20 feet tall (6 m); obovate grey-green leaves, about 0.8 inch long (2 cm)

Watering Needs: Moderate water, needs good drainage

Propagation: Cuttings or seed

Resistant to salt-spray. Used to make hedges 7 to 10 feet tall (2-3 m).
The name of Tea Tree refers to its use as an herbal tea to avoid scurvy.

Blooming Habits:
Heavy blossom of cream flowers, 0.4 inch in diameter (1 cm), in early spring to early summer.
