Home Page | There are a hundred or so Chinese bellflowers, native mostly from southern North America down to South America. They are tropical and subtropical shrubs from the mallow family. The name Abutilon comes from the Arabic name for a local mallow.
They are propagated by softwood cuttings, in spring or fall.
