Watering Needs: tolerates occasional flooding
Propagation: Fresh seeds, don't let the acorns dry out If the acorns are not fresh, they need to be stratified for at least a month

Fruiting Habits:
The acorns of the Valley Oak are slender, bullet shaped, 1.2 to 2.0 inches long (3-5 cm) and 0.5 to 0.8 inch wide (1.2-2.0 cm). They ripen in a single year.
