Growth Habits: Evergreen or semievergreen tree or shrub, 20 to 50 feet tall (6-15 m), 25 to 40 feet spread (7-12 m); dark brown or black bark; dark shiny green unlobed leaves with grayish and densely hairy undersides, 1.6 to 4 inches long (4-10 cm), 0.4 to 2 inches wide (1-5 cm)

Watering Needs: Little water, drought tolerant, needs good drainge

Propagation: Seeds


Fruiting Habits:
The Plateau Oak bears spindle-shaped elongated acorns.
