Growth Habits: Clumping mats of dwarf subshrubs, with tuberous roots. Stem segments 1 to 1.6 inches long (2.5 to 4 cm)

Contrarily to Euphorbia symmetrica, Euphorbia globosa does not have a tap root and can be reared in a relatively shallow pot.
