Growth Habits: Shrub or tree, up to 20 feet tall (6 m.), light green leaves

Flowers: White flowers, in early spring to late spring

Fruit: Blue or black

Watering Needs: Regular water

Propagation: Seed or occasionally cutting, layering

  • by semi-hardwood stem tip cuttings, in spring. Apply IBA TALC 16000 PPM. Use intermittent mist. Root in 6-8 weeks.
  • by trench layers.
  • by seeds, in autumn. Germinates at 70-85 degrees F. The seeds can also be harvested in autumn. The seeds need stratify 40F 2-3mo.. The usual germination temperature is 70-85 degrees F.
