Origin: Mexico (Nuevo León)

Growth Habits: Usually solitary, club-shaped cactus, up to 1 to 2 inches tall (2.5-5 cm), to 1.2 inches in diameter (3 cm); tuberous roots connected to stem by a very long slender neck; woolly apex; 13 to 21 tubercled ribs; 2 central spines, around 0.8 inch long (2 cm), one erect, the other on sideways; 16 glassy white radials, radiating horizontally, 0.1 to 0.25 inch long (2-6 mm).


Blooming Habits:
Pinkish magenta flowers with darker mid-vein, in summer, up to 1.2 inches in diameter (3 cm), 0.4 to 0.8 inch long (1-2 cm).
