Origin: Mexico (San Luis Potosí: Cerros Blancos)

Growth Habits: Solitary, flattened pale green globose stem, 0.8 inch tall (2 cm), 1.4 to 2 inches in diameter (3.5-5 cm); tap root; flattened 4-angled tubercles; 1 to 3 spongy spines one up to 1 inch long (2.5 cm)


Blooming Habits:
Pink flower in summer with dark pink mid-stripe, 0.6 inch long (1.5 cm), 1 inch across (2.5 cm), white stigmas.
