Origin: Mexico (Tamaulipas: Bustamante)
Growth Habits: Solitary, globose stem, 2.8 to 3.2 inches wide (7-8 cm), 2.4 to 2.8 inches tall (6-7 cm); tap root; 4-angled tubercles, 0.2 inches long (5 mm); young areoles with white down; 1 stiff central spine, black at the tip, 0.4 to 1.4 inches long (1-3.5 cm); 8 to 14 radials, 0.2 to 0.4 inch long (5-10 mm).
Blooming Habits:
Funnel shaped, creamy white flower, with pinkish midstripes, 0.8 inch long (2 cm). The fruit is 0.24 inch long (6 mm), splitting at maturity.
