Origin: Mexico (San Luis Potosi)

Growth Habits: Solitary, flattened globose cactus, greyish-green or bluish-green stem, up to 1.5 inch tall (4 cm), 2 inches in diameter (5 cm); tubercles organized in 12 spirals; small woolly tubercles with 3 to 5 spreading spines.

Blooming Habits:
The flowers are white with a pinkish tinge, 1.5 inches in diameter (3.5 cm).
