Origin: Mexico (San Luis Potosí: Huizache)

Growth Habits: Solitary, green or glaucous green globose stem, partly underground, 2.4 inches long (6 cm), 2 inches in diameter (5 cm), napiform root; young areoles with white wool, older are bare; 1 (occasionally 2) pale yellow centrals on mature areoles only, 0.1 inch long (2.5 mm); 5 to 8 radials on young areoles only.


Blooming Habits:
White and pink flower, 0.7 to 0.9 inch wide (18-22 mm), followed by urn-shaped fruit, 0.2 inch long.
