Growth Habits: Solitary or clumping, globose dark green stems, 4.8 to 10 inches tall (10-25 cm), 4 to 7 inches in diameter (10-18 cm); 8 to 13 ribs, divided in conical tubercles; tubercles 0.5 to 0.8 inch long (1.2 to 2 cm); 1 to 4 central spines, up to 1 inch long (2.5 cm); 5 to 12 whitish radials, 0.6 inch long (1.5 cm).

Blooming Habits:
The 1.5 inches flower (4 cm), at the end of the winter, is normally white with a light pink stripe. Clones are available with yellow flowers (as in the picture)
