Synonym: Lemaireocereus quevedonis, Rathbunia quevedonis
Family: Cactaceae

Origin: Mexico (Sinaloa)

Growth Habits: Tree-like, up to 15 feet tall (5 m), trunk 20 in. tall (50 cm), 10 in. wide (25 cm); dark green stems; 7 to 9 rounded ribs, 0.6 in. tall (15 mm); areoles 0.8-1 in. apart (2-2.5 cm); 7 centrals, one to 1.6 in. (4 cm), others 1.2 in. (3 cm); 7-12 radials.


Blooming Habits:
White and pink nocturnal flower, 2.4 inches long (6 cm). Pinkish green globose fruit, 1.6 inches in diameter (4 cm) with sweet pink pulp; dark brown seeds, 1.5 to 2 mm long.
