Origin: Mexico (Durango, Michoacán, Sinaloa)

Growth Habits: Shrub, 10 feet tall (3 m), occasionally with trunk; branches 2 inches in diameter (5 cm), round areoles, 0.2 inch wide (5 mm) with yellow felt and glochids; leaves 1.2 to 3.6 inches long (3 to 9 cm)


Blooming Habits:
Yellow flowers, up to 2 inches long and in diameter (5 cm). Greenish pear-shaped fruits, up to 2.4 inches long (6 cm)
