Growth Habits: Solitary, flattened globose stem, up to 14 inches tall (35 cm) or more, 8 inches in diameter; 13 or 14 ribs; young areoles pubescent; 1 central spine, 2 inches long (5 cm); 7 or 8 yellow radials, 1 inch long (2.5 cm).

Blooming Habits:
