Family: Cactaceae

Origin: Mexico (Puebla, Veracruz)

Growth Habits: Usually solitary, up to 4 feet tall (1.2 m), 1 foot in diameter (30 cm), 13 to 27 ribs, 4 central spines, 6-7 radials


Blooming Habits:
Funnelform purplish flowers, up to 3 inches in diameter (7 cm), followed by deep purple fruits, 1.4 inches long (3.5 cm)
