Growth Habits: Shrubby to tree-like, blue green stems, up to 5 feet long (1.5 m) or more, 2.4 to 8 inches in diameter (6-20 cm); 8 to 10 rounded ribs; large areoles, 0.8 to 1 inch apart (2-2.5 cm); 8 to 11 spines, one longer reaching 1.6 inches long (4 cm)


Blooming Habits:
Fragrant white flowers, 9 to 10 inches long (22-25 cm)
