Origin: Only known from a small area in Mexico (Sonora: western Sierra Madre, Rancho El Trigo)

Growth Habits: Clumping, up to 20 green stems per colony, each up to 4 inches tall (10 cm), 1.6 inches in diameter (4 cm); 14 to 16 ribs; 4 central spines, of variable length, 0.8 to 1.2 inches long (2-3 cm), reddish brown when young; 18 to 21 white radials, 0.2 to 0.4 inch long (5-10 mm)


Blooming Habits:
Pinkish flowers, 1.2 to 1.6 inches in diameter (3-4 cm)
