Synonym: Coryphantha borwigii, Coryphantha roederiana, Echinocactus salinensis, Mammillaria borwigii
Family: Cactaceae

Origin: Mexico (Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas)

Growth Habits: Usually solitary, occasionally bluish, 2 to 4 inches tall (5-10 cm), 2 to 3 inches in diameter (5-8 cm); 4 (or 0) central spines, 0.6 inch long (1.2 cm); 11-15 radials, 0.4 to 0.7 inches long (1-1.7 cm)


Blooming Habits:
Yellow flowers with red base, 1.6 to 2.8 inches long (4-7 cm), 1.6 to 3 inches in diameter (5-7.5 cm)
