Family: Cactaceae

Origin: Brazil (Minas Gerais: Serra do Cipo)

Growth Habits: Columnar cactus, up to 18 inches tall (45 cm), stems 1 inch in diameter (2.5 cm), 10-16 ribs; 4-6 central spines; around 8-11 laterals


Blooming Habits:
Creamy white nocturnal flowers, 2 inches long (5 cm), 1 inch in diameter (2.5 cm). They are followed by a blue round fruit.
