Growth Habits: Shrubby cactus; stems erect or semi-prostrate; up to 2 feet tall (60 cm); 4 (up to 6) broad ribs; 1 to 3 yellowish brown centrals, 1.2 inches long (3 cm), 5 or more shorter radials

Stem: 1 to 1.6 inches wide (2.5 to 4 cm.),, green

Ribs: 5 ribs

Central spines: 4, 0.4 to 0.48 inches long (10 to 12 mm.), brownish

Radial spines: 6 to 8, 0.24 inches long (6 mm.), white


Blooming Habits:
Large white flowers, with brownish green outsides, spiny ovary, about 8 inches long (20 cm)
