Growth Habits: Solitary or branching slowly from the base, cylindrical cactus, up to 12 inches tall (30 cm), 2 inches in diameter (5 cm); 10 to 12 tuberculate low ribs; 4 hooked central spines, 1.2 to 2.4 inches long (3-6 cm); 10-15 radial spines, some yellow wool.


Blooming Habits:
Diurnal, yellow or pink flowers, up to 4 inches in diameter (10 cm)
