Origin: Mexico (Coahuila, Sierra de la Paila)

Growth Habits: Usually solitary, globose cactus, up to 2 inches tall (5 cm), 3 inches in diameter (7 cm); tubercles up to 0.2 inch long (5 mm); 15 to 20 spines.


Blooming Habits:
Reddish yellow flowers, up to 0.8 inches in diameter
