Blooming Habits:
The Calabash bears yellowish bell-shaped flowers, up to 2 inches long (5 cm), with reddish veins. They appear along the trunk. They are bat pollinated.

Fruiting Habits:
Spherical gourd-like fruits along the trunk, up to 1 foot in diameter (30 cm). Small flat seeds embedded in the pulp.

Culture:
Fertilize 3-4 times a year
