Desert Zinnia(Zinnia acerosa)

The Desert Zinnia is useful in harsh arid environment where it will receive minimum care. It will need water to grow and bloom, but an occasional watering with a hose will do the job.

Blooming Habits:
The Zinnia acerosa blooms in March-April, the flower is off white, 1.5 inches in diameter (3.7 cm). In colder areas the flowers can occasionally be damaged by frost.

Culture:
Cut back to the ground every other year to avoid a straggly look.
