Growth Habits: Herbaceous perennial, mound forming, 6 to 18 inches tall (15-45 cm), 12 to 24 inches in spread (30-60 cm); finely textured, feathery, silver leaves

Watering Needs: Little to moderate water, tolerates poor soils; prefers sandy soild, needs good drainage

Propagation: Divide clumps in spring or autumn, easy by cuttings

'Silver Mound' is more compact than the species, 'Nana' is mat forming, up to 4 inches tall (10 cm).

Blooming Habits:
Insignificant short spikes of pale yellow flowers in early autumn

Culture:
Trim the plant short at the end of the growing season.
