Origin: Ethiopia (Shewa Region), steep slopes at 10000 to 12000 feet elevation (3000 to 3500 m)

Growth Habits: Pendulous stem, up to 20 feet long (6 m), leaves 3 to 7 inches long (8-18 cm)

Orange red flowers, up to 1.6 inches long (4 cm)
