Growth Habits: Large, slim, suckering palm tree, up to 80 feet tall (24 m), up to 25 feet in diameter (7.5 m); trunk with no crownshaft, up to 10 inches in diameter (25 cm); pinnate, orange colored leaf stem bases.

Watering Needs: Moderate water

Propagation: Suckers, seeds germinate easily and quickly


Blooming Habits:
Dioecious. Flower stalk coming from among the leaves.

Fruiting Habits:
Brown fruit, 0.75 inch long (2 cm), oval. Brown seed, 0.5 inch long (1.2 cm), oblong, rounded end, groove along one side in typical Phoenix fashion.
