Growth Habits: Deciduous or semi-evergreen or evergreen, dark green leaves

Flowers: White, light yellow or greenish flowers, up to 2 inches long (5 cm.), in early summer to late summer

Fruit: Round red

Watering Needs: Bog plant adapted to the edge of medium to large ponds at a depth of 2 to 10 inches (5-25 cm), prefers acidic water.

Propagation: Plsnt rhizomes fragments in spring, seeds in autumn.
