Watering Needs: Abundant water but not wet when in leaf, keep barely moist in winter after the leaves die.

Propagation: Divide rhizomes in March, offsets, seeds that generally don't look exactly like the parents

Plant the rhizomes, so that the top is slightly out of the ground. The sap is toxic.

Blooming Habits:
This Alocasia has purple spaths that come intermittently

Culture:
In summer fertilize with general garden fertilizer (14-14-14).
