Caralluma socotrana is a difficult to grow asclepiad, endemic to the Island of Socotra, in the Indian Ocean. It has symmetrically jointed stems that make it look like a pale green coral.

Blooming Habits:
The Caralluma socotrana has maroon flowers in the fall. They are followed by pods containing papery seeds.
