Phoenix Garden Calendar

There are over 100 species of Asclepias, also called 'Milkweed'. They originates from the America, and, depending on the species, vary from perennials to small shrubs. The common name refers to the milky white sap. This sap is poisonous.
Some of the tropical species are raised as annuals, or raised to overwinter inside.
