Watering Needs: Ample water, good drainage, appreciate rich, loamy soils, tolerates summer drought.

Propagation: Offsets, seeds


Blooming Habits:
Loose clusters, 3 to 4 inches in diameter (7-10 cm) of yellow flowers, 0.5 inch wide (1.2 cm), in late spring-early summer for 2 to 3 weeks, on 8-18 inches long stems (20-45 cm).

Culture:
Plant the bulbs in the fall, 1 inches deep (2.5 cm), 2 to 3 inches apart (5-7.5 cm).
