Phoenix Garden Calendar

Stomatium is a genus of mesemb from South Africa. They are similar looking to Faucaria, but have fairly different fruit capsules. They also have pimpled leaf surface while Faucaria are smooth, except for the teeth.

Most Stomatium flowers open at the end of the day, until the middle of the night. The flowers are generally scented and fairly small.
