Origin: A small area close to the border between South Africa (Namuskluft) and Namibia, at high elevations

Growth Habits: Succulent subshrub on woody roots, 3 inches tall (7 cm), leaves up to 2 inches long (5 cm)

Watering Needs: A spring grower, it is an opportunistic grower and will grow at other times if given water

Propagation: Seeds, cuttings

The species epithet 'falcatus' comes from the Latin for 'scythe-shaped'.

Blooming Habits:
Pale yellow flower, 1 inch in diameter (2.5 cm) or more
