Home Page | Aloinopsis is a relatively small genus of Mesembryanthemum from South Africa. The genus name stands for "similar to an Aloe". These plants have a rather large tuberous root system, it is occasionally raised for its looks. They tend to make more heads when they are raised.
Most of the Aloinopsis are winter growers, and they can be fussy about too much water at the wrong time.
