Heat Tolerance: Light shade in summer in Phoenix

Sun Exposure: Full sun

Origin: Peru (Ancash)

Growth Habits: Columnar cactus, up to 10 feet tall (3 m), stems are up to 5 inches in diameter (12 cm)

Watering Needs: Very rot prone


This is not the same cactus as Cephalocereus senilis from Mexico. This one is from Peru, and is not as common as other Espostoas like Espostoa lanata.
